The Garden Stage presented by Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden

The Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden presents this year’s Garden Stage. Located in Freedom Hall, the presentations and demonstrations will inspire and enhance your gardening know-how, providing a head start on the gardening season. A changing assortment of topical tracks throughout each day will ensure your access to a broad array of gardening topic.

Daily Topical Tracks:
11:00 a.m.
Great Plants for Great Gardens—Love plants? Come learn about the newest and best from these expert plant folks as well as best plants used in their gardens.

12:00 p.m. Horticultural How-To’s—Short, hands-on demonstrations will provide take-home tips you can use in your garden.

12:30 p.m. Come Sit a Spell with the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden—Learn about this exciting upcoming exhibit as well as the full five seasons of garden displays, events and programs that comprise the ever-changing guest experience throughout the year at the Garden!

1:00 p.m. The Art of Plants—Gain inspiration for the artful side of gardening through innovative presentations.

2:00 p.m. Gardening for the Earth—Green up your garden through presentations focused on sustainability.

3:00 p.m. Gardens of the Carolinas—North, south, east, and west—make your way around the state and enjoy an armchair tour of some of the Carolinas’ greatest public gardens.

4:00 p.m. Garden Inspirations—A wide-ranging array of expert presenters will offer a variety of topics to inspire and inform your gardening.

6 and 7 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the Garden Stage extends into the evening with special guests and activities: Friday—A special celebration of children, youth, and families is the focus of Family Gardening Night. Saturday—Home Gardening Night will offer special presentations by gardening experts offering tips and wisdom gained from their years of experience.
